Class C Bitch Pt 2 Critique
12th April 2004
Many thanks to Sheilagh Hyde & Committee of MBCC for the invitation to judge & to Chris Whitehead for calling & Stephanie Evans for scribing. You all did an excellent job & made the
day a pleasure, ably assisted by the weather which was perfect.
We had a class of 50 of which 44 booked in & the best of these were:
1st Llynellen Spring Special WS 21.03.1999. Mrs Pauline Hill. Losing 7. A class round from Pauline & Posh, full of controlled enthusiasm. A team to be reckoned
with that are going from strength to strength. Very well done & good luck for the very bright future Pauline.
2nd Busybug Seek The Dream For Samalone WS 23.11.1996. Mrs Jane Bowman. Losing 9. A beautiful stylish round that was a pleasure to watch & judge. But for a taste
of the decoy would have run-off for the red one. Congratulations & good luck.
3rd Addewid Promise Of Bliss WS 02.02.1999. Ms Clare Fredrickson. Losing 12. Ren lost 4 points on the down stay which shows the quality of the round. A very smart
team with a lovely attitude. Excellent. Well done Clare.
4th Borderlair Nugget OW WS 21.05.1995. Miss Domini Allday. Losing 14½. Nuggle was a little OTT today; which was lovely to see but a little costly on the marks.
Well done Dom.
5th Bambi's Monkey Nut Girl GSD 05.07.2000. Mrs Julie Foster. Losing 17½. Today was Julie's worst nightmare. First time in 'C' & me judging (I don't know why I'm
really scary!) It took her all day to pluck up the courage to come in but then left the ring with a huge smile on her face; & quite rightly so as Jessie did her proud. Just bits & pieces on
all exercises. I'm sure you'll have plenty more smiley days with her Julie, she's great. Congratulations.
6th Ice Maiden Isla WS 19.06.1996. Mrs Janet Hacket. Losing 19½. A missed position in DC cost you a higher place today, otherwise a very nice round Janet. Well done.
Hard luck story of the day was Mandi Oliver & Causing A Commotion OW, in joint lead until scent then couldn't recognise Aunty Lou's smell. Sorry Mandi, it was a lovely round.
Thank you to Doug Dawson for decoy, & all our competitors who made our day such a pleasant one. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Good luck for the rest of the season.
