Thank you to the committee for asking me to judge & to Judith who, once again, did a good job at stewarding. This is a lovely venue which provides
excellent size rings.
After a slow start (only 4 dogs ran from the draw) we were kept busy all day. Thank you competitors, you all helped make our day an enjoyable one.
1st Trestus Sweet Kate. (Katie) Sheltie. Mrs M Mills, lost 1. Just returned from maternity leave & already picking up places.
Just bits & pieces on HW, clear recall & retrieve. Well done Mavis, you both worked hard for this one.
2nd Bisquet Pyne. (Linnhe) WS. Mrs J Grattridge, lost 1¼. A lovely round that was in the lead most of the day. Again, just
bits & pieces on HW, clear recall & retrieve. Well done.
3rd Belverdale Falcon Image. (Riski) BC. Miss A Wilkinson, lost 2¼. A lovely round by this pair. Clear retrieve, crooked
present on recall & the rest on HW.
4th Roseley Carrie Ann. (Carrie) BC. Mrs W Hughes, lost 2½. Carrie worked nicely just lost position a little on the HW & a
crooked present on retrieve. Won run-off from the following dog.
5th Eiselman Linxena Legend. (Xena) GSD. Mrs P Constantine, lost 2½. This was a lovely round with clear recall & retrieve.
Just lost position a couple of times on HW in particular at turns. Overall Xena worked well & only narrowly lost the run-off.
6th Linern Salsa Of Dejaga. (Kelly) GSD. Mr R Middleditch, lost 3¼. Just bits & pieces to tidy up & those higher places
will be yours. Clear recall, crooked present on retrieve. Won run-off from the following dog.
7th Caldohna Coquet. (Saffy) WS. Miss G Garraway, lost 3¼. Sorry I didn't have a rosette for you today, but I'm sure there
will be more to come soon. The knock on pick up was costly today. Just a fluke I bet, but it cost you a higher place.
