Limited Obedience Show ~ October 2nd 2011
Pre-Beginners & Novice Critiques

Judge - Julie Duesbury

Pre-Beginners (5 entries)
1st losing 5 1/4 - Mrs E Sadler with Darian Snow Bear - A lovely round from this very handsome boy. He was beautifully handled and encouraged. The about turns were excellent but he just needs a bit more work on his attention. Well done.

2nd ARO losing 7 1/4 - Mrs J Cattell with Dorvale Custom Maid - A very nice round but a couple of wide about turns cost and a bit of drifting cost the marks. Well done.

3rd ARO losing 7 1/4 - Mrs A R Spencer with Littlethorn Colt at Tobermoray - Another super round. It was nice to see this dog played with and motivated so well. Very nice heelwork and recall but lost some attention during the heelfree.

Novice (12 entries)
1st losing 3 - Mrs S Britton and Thornbury Nell - A very nice, accurate round with only little bits of drifting and slight loss of attention to mark. Well done.

2nd losing 4 1/4 - Mrs S Britton and Brittamy's Red Checkmate - Well done again! Another very accurate round with the pick up and mouthing on the retrieve making the difference.

3rd losing 4 1/2 - Mrs S Hyde with Tuckerspool Mitch - An excellent round with only the retrieve and finish costing him a higher place. Well done.

4th losing 6 - Miss A Sadler with Darian Enchanted by Fire - A lovely happy dog who just tried a little too hard today. She lost most of her marks because of her tendency to jump up during heelwork. Very nice retrieve and recall.

5th losing 7 1/2 - Mrs D Walton with Mystic Dream Among Ellejay - Loss of position on right turns and about turns, if you can improve this then you will be in the higher placings next time.
